Noted as one of Penang’s landmarks, the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple is a three-story octagonal Hindu temple with 16 chairs ‒ and a bothersome water leakage issue. Due to the previous waterproofing level and cement render already faltered, the team managing the temple found themselves facing pooling spots around the temple. With the poor floor leveling adding to the mix, the temple would get slippery floors along with stains and marks on the walls and ceiling. This made the people managing the temple worried. The condition of the water leakage caused the walls to become unsightly, unsafe, and poisonous.
Scope of work
Upon arriving at the temple, our on-site team did a thorough inspection of the pooling areas and cracks to rectify and prep the area before the application. After fixing everything that is necessary on the rooftop, the team then cleans up the area and gets started on the application process of our Nano-G Nanotechnology Waterproofing solution. With over 5576 sq. ft. of application area to work on, the team completed the project in about 60 days.
Customer remarks
After completion of the project, the managing team from the temple commented that our team did a good and satisfying job in restoring the temple and freeing it from any water leakages. They were also happy to know that as the Nano-G Nanotechnology Waterproofing solution is water-based, it will hold and retain 85% of its waterproofing functionality even after 8 years.
Project was completed on 10 January 2021 (slab without tiles) and on 5 March 2021 (slab with tiles).
