Established in 1952, Han Chiang Associated School in Penang is one of the region’s most reputable educational institutions with a rich history and legacy. As with many older buildings, constant exposure to water and cleaning chemicals over the decades had gradually taken a toll on some of the bathroom areas.
The long-term accumulation of standing water and chemical erosion had caused visible damage, including water seepage through floor tile joints, unsightly stains, and surface deterioration. Left unaddressed, these issues posed not only aesthetic concerns but also increased the risk of water leakage over time, potentially affecting lower building levels.
Scope of Project
To reduce further damage, Nano‑G was appointed to carry out a comprehensive waterproofing treatment for selected bathroom areas. Our team began by performing an intensive surface cleaning to remove accumulated grime, standing water, and chemical residues. Once the surfaces were dry and fully prepped, we applied our advanced water-based nanotechnology waterproofing solution.
This seamless, non-invasive treatment forms a durable protective barrier that prevents water penetration while maintaining the integrity and appearance of the existing tiles, no hacking or retiling required.
Customer Remarks
The school’s management commended Nano-G for the timely and professional execution of the work. Post-treatment, the bathrooms not only looked significantly improved but also kept the building dry and more secure. The management team was particularly appreciative of the long-term preventive value the waterproofing solution brings in preserving their historic facility.
