Walkway Link Bridge Anti-Slip Project for Genting Malaysia

Located in the cool and humid highlands, Genting’s elevated climate makes surfaces particularly prone to moisture retention, leading not only to slippery floors but also to mould and bacterial growth, especially in high-footfall zones like public walkways.

To ensure daily users from potential slip hazards, Genting Malaysia appointed Nano‑G to apply our Nanotechnology Anti-Slip Coating on one of their most frequented pedestrian link bridges. This preventive safety measure keeps daily users safe with every step.

Scope of Project

Given the bridge’s constant public use, our team implemented a phased installation approach. We first closed off half the walkway, carrying out thorough cleaning and preparation, including dirt and moisture removal from grout lines. Then we applied the Nano-G Nanotechnology Anti-Slip Coating, which not only enhances grip but also forms a protective layer that resists mould and bacterial growth caused by the damp environment. Once completed, we reopened the treated section and shifted to the remaining half, ensuring continuous pedestrian access throughout the project.

Customer Remarks

Genting Malaysia was highly satisfied with the systematic, non-disruptive workflow and the added benefit of anti-mould and anti-bacterial protection. They appreciated that the installation process was carried out with no dust, no mess, allowing the public to continue using the walkway safely without interruption. The walkway now feels noticeably safer underfoot, especially in Genting’s humid climate where slippery floors and mould growth are common concerns. Nano‑G’s professionalism and attention to public safety left a strong impression.
